I'm just a general, old-fashioned, lover boy, as the song goes. I like making people happy, and it hurts me a lot when I am hurting someone else's feelings. I don't like it when someone is angry and lets it out for no reason. I like to have a lot of fun when I'm out, hanging with my friends, but I also like having my quiet time alone as well. I can be very outgoing, but then at other times I can be reserved. I like people a lot; SO many that I have met in my lifetime, and I've enjoyed every one of their company in my life.

I have a steadfast and varied appreciation that borders on an obsessive dissection of the media I consume. Actually it'd be more accurate to say that I love art in any medium.

MMA was a thing of the past but i've begun training for that nonsense again. I feel that the level of physical and intensity along with the duress that the sport can place on an individual spurns advancements in clarity, focus, and understanding.

That's not an exceptional summary of my character but suffice to say that I can be absolutely passionate and steadfast when the mood strikes me. But having said that I do not feel that there is much justification for a somber disposition so I regard all matters with a bit of levity.

In the end i'd like to be able to consider myself a denizen of the world; absolved from the mundane and well versed in the sorrow, solace, and sensations that our dirty little planet has to offer.

In my 32 years on this Earth, I have learned a great deal about myself and the people around me. By all accounts, my life could be a whole lot worse. I have a good job, a nice home, and great people around me. I suppose as time goes by, I have tried to live my life by this quote, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." I would like to think I am a calm and rational person. I try my best to embrace and understand the thoughts and feelings of others. Nothing is better then to take a hour or so of a nap and wake up refreshed and ready to go. I enjoy playing games (not mind games). Poker, cards, board and video games. As far as sports go, I enjoy playing and watching sports. Yes I am from Ohio yet I don't like any Ohio teams. Here we go: In baseball, I like the New York Yankees. In football I like the Miami Dolphins. In college football I like Georgia Bulldogs. In basketball I like the Detroit Pistons and in hockey I like the Detroit Redwings. I'm a pretty laid-back guy. I try to take things in stride, because ultimately, most things in life that get us riled up are truthfully pretty minor.

That said, I do have strong convictions about a lot of things going on in the world. You should ask me about them sometime. Not on a first date, of course. First dates should be fun; there's plenty of time to discuss the world later.

I love going out to see movies, and I also like checking out the occasional play. I'm perfectly happy eating out, or heading out to a local bar, preferably one with a pool table. Not that I'm very good at pool, mind you, but I am very good at smack talk, and I occasionally get lucky, so that's good enough for me.

If I'm staying in, I enjoy getting together with some friends and playing board or card games. My Euchre and Settlers of Catan skills are FIERCE. You can't stop this.

I can be quiet and grumpy or silly and outgoing depending on how well I know a person and how comfortable I am. I love most animals. I don't have any myself but I always had a dog while growing up and everyone in my family are pet people, it's just in the blood.
I play a lot of video games (as do most guys). I haven't read in a while but when I do it's usually fantasy. I've been listening to all kinds of music recently. Rob Zombie to Sufjan Stevens. I generally enjoy lighthearted movies like comedies, Pixar type movies, mindless action films and that kind of thing. There's enough death and misery in the real world, why would I want to watch it? Most people have no idea what to write here. Have you noticed? I understand. It's a tall order, stuffing one's experience into a paragraph or two in the impossible hope of containing it all.

Yet other people seem to have no problem with this task and type out 1000 words or so about themselves. I'm suspicious. In my experience, there's an ocean between how they see themselves and how others see them.

It's a terrible prompt and I refuse to write anything here.

I suppose you can say that my left hand always knows what my right hand is doing because I set wisdom above most virtues of which I sustain and grow upon. Everything has its place and everything has a certain characteristic that demands specific responses. And so I work hard when the time is needed and play when the time is right. I do not add too much sugar to my tea and do not fill my cup too much. Checks and balances in all things is what I tend to make a point of knowing and doing in order to live life meaningfully. I know what is true and what is right and appreciate heart to heart conversations..... I can never get enough of them. Love is what counts and Love is what I give. I thank God for His unfailing Love and His immaculate example in Jesus Christ through which I will always follow and cherish.

i dont really know what to put here except that ive done a lot in life so far, ill hopefully start back at college this fall for my nursing degree and eventually move on and become a nurse practitoner since i dont have the time or money to become a actual doctor and its the next best thing
